National hero?

I've never even fucking heard of her. Get back on the mess, Loosey Loo, or up the dosage..

Yeah, "national hero" sounded like just another aussiefriend delusion which she'd projected on to the whole of the Australian population, like her claim that Tracy Connelly never hurt anyone.

Tracy Connelly hurt her parents by running away from a decent home as a teen and preferring to turn tricks on the streets to support her heroin habit. She hurt her oldest child by giving him up and never mothering or contacting him while her parents raised him. She had another child that she sold or gave up for adoption, the knowledge of which could cause that second unwanted child some pain down the line. Ms. Connelly was a selfish, drug-addicted, street prostitute who sadly got killed in the process of living that high-risk lifestyle; she also happened to have a nice smile and a pretty face which is media-friendly. Aussiefriend's hero.

Obviously, she didn't deserve to be murdered in the back of her van, presumably by some john, and I hope the killer is found. Even if she weren't reportedly a personable woman, she would deserve justice. And, Australian police appear to be working the case, like they would any other murder.
