Blueberry, you scrumptious Pan Am fantasy, I can actually see you walking right there next to Leonardo in that Catch me if you can movie of his, Hong Kong was fabulous. Still is. Lived there for 6 years, working on The Peak, which provided me with one of the best commutes to work ever, with the Peak Tram, and the old Ritz Carlton there. The magical fragrant city. Sometimes more, sometimes less fragrant.
I was wearing a straw hat too once, but I was not riding a bicycle but a Philippina right there on the Peak with the whole city below us. One of those unforgettable memories of my life. Not so much because of the moment with her, and the view, even so I won't complain about that one, but it was even more manifested into my mind by the fact that it was 2am, and there was not a single taxi anymore on the Peak. So we had to walk all the way down. Imagine that in high heels.
I had blisters all over next day!

OOps,I deleted too much! Why were you wearing high heels?
Hong Kong was magical back in the 50's. I recall the people who lived in their small boats (size of rowboat)
I like the Pam Am fantasy...In another time, you would be my type of guy....Continue with your fabulous life, but be careful. I think you mentioned you drank gin and tonic. My favorite (not unique) is vodka and tonic...but in an earlier time, I drank gimlets, martinis, bourbon/water,etc.
Your friend has placed herself in grave danger. I am sure she realizes the dangers of getting herself on the front page and becoming a target. You all keep your heads down....Cheers!
