48-year-old detective Terence Green ^ was shot and killed early this morning. RIP. He was a 20 year veteran of the Fulton County, Georgia police department.
Green, 48, and another officer responded to a shots fired call at 12:43 a.m. Wednesday. They were told the suspect was possibly intoxicated. Neighbors said the man was going from house to house, banging on doors and firing a long barrel gun.
The scumbag shooter, Amanuel Menghesha (pictured below), was hiding nearby and ambushed the officers, shooting and striking Green in the head.

Menghesha was shot during the incident, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
