Former Utah high school English teacher ^ Brianne Altice, 35, (also a soon-to-be-divorced wife and mother) is facing charges for having sex with three male students.

She had sex with the third student while she was out on bail and a judge ordered for her bail to be revoked.

One of the students, who was 17 when they allegedly had sex, has now sued the Davis County School District for emotional damages in the amount of $674,000 because Altice had been reprimanded after the school saw a photo of her acting inappropriately with a student but she was not fired.

IMO, Altice is probably yet another female teacher with arrested development who got into teaching to be around teens because she wants to be one or is attracted to them. Or, she's a straight-up predator, or a nympho. Whichever, it's messed up bullshit for teachers of either sex to seduce/manipulate their high school students and she's dug her own grave in terms of losing her teaching career and facing criminal charges. However, I am skeptical about the motives of the 17-year-old male suing for emotional damages to that tune -- there aren't a lot of details available at this point.

Last month, Altice motioned for one of the charges to be dropped, claiming she had not been in a position of authority when she was accused of having sex with one of the boys. But a judge denied the motion.

No trial dates have yet been set but she faces up to life in prison if convicted.
