Justified shooting

Elkins, 54, is from Chesapeake, Ohio. He's charged with aggravated murder.

Day before yesterday, Elkins came home to find his buddy Ricky Crager, 57, "with his wife".

The men exchanged words before Elkins put two bullets into Ricky's chest on the front porch.

"They was best friends. They've known each other since they was eight or ten," neighbor James Mullins tells WSAZ. Mullins says he could hear Crager pleading for his life from across the street.

"When I heard him say, 'Bill don't hit me,' I knew it wasn't just somebody out there shooting. I came down off the hill, got here and heard him say, 'Bill don't shoot me.' Then I heard another gunshot and it went silent. I mean it was just the dead of the night," Mullins said.

I can't find a photo of the cheatin' wife or the deceased. For some reason, I really wanna see them.

Anyway, some might consider it a justified shooting, I think.

So, this was as good a thread as any to post the story.
