Agree with six and BT and with a few exceptions, it's usually Liberals that want to outlaw things. Take away one's freedom to choose by making things unlawful to own or possess.

BG, just what freedom to choose has been taken away from you?
If you are alluding to gun rights....and I am not saying you are....you shouldn't have the right to buy an assault rifle, pistol, etc. without a permit or background check....The 2^nd amendment doesn't give you the right to terrorize the rest of us with your ....uh.....gun. You should have right to choose whether you want to terminate a pregnancy......that is a medical issue, not a Gov't issue..so just what are Liberals wanting to outlaw? And why do some of you think that Liberals are O.K. with hand outs....Who said that? I am pro choice, not pro abortion.
However, I think every society should take care of the down and out. It is called compassion. Do I believe in welfare? yes...but only under special circumstances. There is way too much welfare fraud and it upsets me just as much as it does you....
It makes me angry that the Gov't awards welfare to alcoholics and call it a disability without requiring treatment....maybe laws have changed but that happened in the 80's; one of my tenants never could pay his rent cause he used his welfare check to buy booze....
I am actually still a legal resident of Colorado and I voted for legalization of weed......what freedom did I try to take away with that vote? Just not understanding your statement above.
I do not believe in blanket amnesty of "illegal" persons. Dang, if I went to another country and did that, I would still be there behind bars...Last evening on news it said that 5,000 illegals from Mexico had been convicted of murders. Was only half listening so don't know details...Some of these deadbeats and killers need to be deported ASAP. If some are allowed to stay, they need to wait their turn, pay taxes, etc...pay back any welfare they received... I had to pay back my student loan after all.

Well, I would never live in Colorado because it wouldn't be legal to own my dog there. So, in Colorado it would be the right to choose to own an adorable loving pit bull. How's that for starters?

Wait just a minute....the individual States all have their own rules, but what does that have to do with Liberals banning choices...My grandson has a pit bull and after watching Pit Bull Rescue on Cable TV, I have decided this dog breed is really misunderstood and I love his dog. What does this have to do with topic at hand?

Your statement about Liberals being so quick to write this law, that it now needs tweaking is not much better......Wow, the nerve of them! Those dang Liberals can't do anything right, blah, blah, blah..........
