It does beg the question: at what point does self defense turn into misdemeanor battery? She threw a punch at his face a second before that clip you posted.

Atually, you can see her "throw a punch" in the beginning of that clip. It's a tough call on this one without knowing the whole story, but in general I was taught to never raise a hand to a woman.
