Another kinda surprising celebrity divorce...



Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been married for 13 years. They have three sons, aged 9, 6, and 1.

He still tours with his band Bush and she with No Doubt and as a solo artist, though she's now traveling less as a judge on The Voice.

Anyway, she just filed for divorce citing 'irreconcilable differences' and they're both seeking joint custody. No prenup, but she's not planning on paying him spousal support (she's worth 80 million and he's worth 35 million). They say they'll be amicable partners in raising their sons.

With news that the marriage is ending and rumors that she suspected him of cheating, some of the old stories about Rossdale's days in England (before he hit it big) are resurfacing -- one story that he first denied and later acknowledged is his affair with Marilyn (Peter Robinson), a British pop star in the 80s.

When Boy George mentioned the couple in his auto-biography, Rossdale denied it and said the two were just friends. Marilyn agreed to support Rossdale's version as Bush was just taking off in the U.S., but later admitted that it was true and that he and Rossdale had a 5 year realtionship. Rossdale finally copped to it, but said it was just a youthful experimental fling like all young people have. And so it goes...
