Censorship at its finest. It's a word. How people react to it is totally on them.

While 'nigger' certainly is 'just' a word, it's a derogatory word meant to belittle and put someone down.
Are you serious when you say you can just walk up to a black person, call them 'nigger' and think less of them when they slug you in the face because they don't know how to handle a simple word?

I didn't say I wouldn't get punched but that doesn't make that reaction appropriate. Why can black people throw it around so carelessly and then make it a high crime for a white person to use it in any context?

I have a lot of German in me but I wouldn't punch someone for calling me a nazi or a honky or most any other name. Sticks and stones, MS. Again, the people that allow it to get under their skin...it's their problem.

Calling a black person a nigger and a black person calling you a Nazi aren't even comparable User.

BTW, I don't think the teacher should've been suspended.
