I do not think there is one single reason all this crazy shit is going on, there are many reasons some of which you covered. I kind of doubt the chemtrail one, but who knows?
Kids today are all fucked up because their parents did a shitty job of raising them, they were too busy, too self centered, stoned or crazy or just plain ignorant to do a decent job of raising them. Those kids are having kids and the cycle continues to spiral down the drain.
In most cases its too late to turn off the ipod and get outside and do something, make something, learn something worthwhile, but you never know, it sure couldn't hurt.
My kids grew up more or less outside, my son seriously took to it in high school and is an avid hunter and outdoor guy now in addition to being a successful doctor and a pretty good guy.
My daughter is a Speech Pathologist and has 3 kids all of whom are doing great and they all love camping, hiking, skiing, swimming and all that stuff. Their mom was smart enough from the beginning to really limit the TV, Video game and ipod time and the kids are turning out great. I seriously doubt I will ever hear one of them shot 10 people. So the recipe worked in their case.
Good people are made, they don't just happen very often. I wasn't raised by animals, but my parents are no where near the parents my kids are, I am a pretty good guy most of the time, but sometimes an asshole. my kids are better than me and I consider that a win.
Its going to take a long time to breed out all the assholes that are running around our population right now, if it can ever be done. We need some better leaders, better examples, fewer assholes in the news and as heroes.
We need another Dr King, another Ghandi and John Wayne and we need fewer P Diddy, Fity Cent and Kanye
