Yeah, but you're not like some of these guys up in here who'd take a knife to a gun fight; them being faster than a speeding bullet and all.
I'm just plain human too. I see someone coming at me with a knife, I can turn and run if I have time. If I don't, I have a chance of doing some physical damage to them when they get close enough to stab me. I don't have that same opportunity when I've already been shot on approach.
