Despite the statistics you posted, if I had to choose I'd rather have someone coming at me with a knife than a gun. I'd have a better chance at dodging a knife than bullets and that's the only point MS was trying to make. But I guess you'd choose the gun because statistically they are used as murder weapons more often.

If it's so easy to dodge a knife, why do so many people die from it?

Jesus Christ. I didn't say it was so easy. If Norman Bates came after me in the shower with a butcher knife I probably wouldn't survive. I'm not denying that. But if I was in a public setting and a lunatic walked in with the intent to kill as many people as possible my chances of survival would be better with a single knife than multiple bullets flying everywhere from a firearm.

Why you want to keep arguing that with statistics about knives used as murder weapons is fucking beyond me.
