I was inspired to ask that question after reading about the student responding to a teacher who posted that only 10% of voters turned out to vote and the student's response was that the remaining 90% were illegal. I feel like that kid is entitled to her opinion. Why wouldn't she be? Is it because adults feel like it's inappropriate? Why are teachers allowed to discern that?
This isn't the first time a student has been punished for their opinion and I view that as bullshit.
