I can't find any "finished" fireplace/cabinetry pictures I like but our existing fireplace is going to get torn out with some cabinetry surrounding the fireplace and the t.v. above. Mine won't be white, the fireplace surround will be spectacular...but generally speaking, I sort of like this arrangement (my wall is wider...the fireplace will be wider in relation to the cabinets for aesthetics and to allow for a big, fat tv.
This pic is boring but it's the general idea. I'm going to have to bump my remodel thread since it's actually moving along now.
It's tiring.
