If a credible investigation determines that the Mexican government is in fact engaged in a conspiracy to send Mexican murderers and rapists into the United States illegally for some reason, Gunnar, I'll be interested in hearing the evidence. For now, it's an allegation.

So, Trump's very public claim that it's a fact months ago was nothing more than either an unsubstantiated accusation or fiction crafted to reel in certain types of voters. Either way, it worked.

I don't think it's so much a conspiracy, as it is turning a blind eye. Anyone who thinks there aren't Coyotes and cartel loads crossing the border on a daily basis in droves doesn't live in the real world. Have those coyotes and drug runners committed horrible crimes like murder and rape? Yes. Are they being charged by the Mexican LE? No, because many of them ARE LE.
