The Trail Blazers have a good team and a great player in Lilliard. They're one of only a handful of teams to beat the Warriors in regular season. But, I know a few people who have bets on the Warriors sweeping Portland in 5.
One of those people told me this weekend that he considers the Warriors without Curry to be the best team in the league, right behind the Warriors with Curry. I argued that the Cavs or Spurs might hold that spot for me, but he could be right.
Anyway, to me, it would be something for Portland to win two or more games against the league champions. I think the first game against the Warriors with Curry on the bench might have been more difficult than the next one -- unfamiliarity. Aside from Draymond, the Trail Blazers had to contend with the giant known as Andrew Bogut harshing their gig last night in Oakland. I don't know if Portland can regroup enough to take game 2 in Oakland, but I expect them to win game 3 and/or 4 in Portland.
