I've read about this kid. The judge gave him 6 months! People are pissed around the country and there is a petition to have the judge removed from the bench. VP Biden has even mentioned the victim.

Brock raped her while she was unconscious. Two Swedish exchange students intervened. In court Brock described himself as the victim saying the Swedes attacked him. Brock's father portrayed him as a victim as well, a pastor called him out on it.

I understand parents standing by their children, but it is despicable the way this boy's family have tried to paint him as a sympathetic figure. He raped an unconscious young woman. It was reported he took pictures of her before or after the rape and sent them to his swim team. I haven't tried to verify that.
