Actually, carnival rides are safer than stationary theme park rides. Worn out parts are replaced more often because they are more likely to be seen.
Ride operators, on the other hand....
Most carnival ride accidents are operator error. Most operators are either drunk or high by night fall (that is how they deal with all you assholes).
They have also been baking in the sun all day. They pull 16 hour shifts, with 1⁄2 hour for lunch & dinner.
Fat operators are safer than skinny ones. Fat operators usually blow their money on weed & carnie food, skinny operators have more of a taste for coke & heroin.
