It's worth a shot. Zycam is zinc based, but doesn't taste as horrible as as the 'cold eaze' lozenges.
Nyquil & other shit like that just mask the symptoms and don't really help fight the cold.
There are studies out about zinc actually treating & shortening a cold.
Can't hurt, might help
