Trial Underway
Ross Harris' trial was moved about 300 miles southeast of Atlanta to the coastal city of Brunswick, Georgia.
After jury selection resumed last month, the pool was narrowed Monday down to 12 jurors and four alternates.
Opening statements began today. Harris faces up to life in prison if convicted.
The prosecution told jurors that Ross Harris led a double life, was engaged in many sexual affairs including with prostitutes and teens, and that he intentionally left little Cooper in the hot car two years ago because he didn't want the responsibilities of family life.
Tomorrow, the Defense will make its opening statements.
The trial is expected to take at least a month.
