UPDATE
Though it was reasonable to suspect the husband in this case, and he sure ain't no saint, he did not kill his wife.
The first degree murder charges were dropped against Justin Adams for the murder of Jaymie Adams (couple pictured above). However, he was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 10 years of probation for pimping his wife out on Craiglist, which led to her being killed. Justin Adams says he deeply regrets helping his wife in prostituting herself, but the couple needed the money and "had no other choice."
Jaymie, 25, went missing in December 2011 after going to meet with a client for sex. Her dead body was found in a wooded area of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma about a month later, with 29 stab wounds. The autopsy concluded that she was killed the night she went missing.
LE was able to obtain DNA from Jaymie's body and match it to Joseph Richard Cyr (pictured above). Cyr, 34, was scheduled to meet Jaymie for sex that night, but claims he never went. That's a pretty lame defense, considering his DNA was recovered from her corpse, but that's what he's going with.
Cyr is currently on trial. He is facing two counts of first-degree murder, one count for Jaymie and one count for her unborn child.
