America, what the fuck have you done?

I know your question isn't a literal one, crash. But, this American only has a literal answer at this point.

We had an election and the candidate running against the status quo and the Democratic and Republican establishments got the most electoral votes.

Clearly, and contrary to what Trump's been claiming, the mainstream media didn't determine the election outcome, nor was the outcome rigged by the ballot/electoral system.

It's very comparable to Brexit, in my opinion, right down to the similarities between Boris Johnson and Donald Trump.



Anyway, there are obviously a lot of people in this country who feel the government has let them down for a long time. I don't think they're necessarily wrong, it's their experience and perception. Even though I greatly disagree with their choice of change agent, I'm hoping the change turns out to be for the better (or at least not for the worse) domestically and globally.

Anyway, I don't think America will really know what we've done until after the dust settles.
