Absolutely if we could do it but it sounds like you're going to arrive on the Big Island the day we're scheduled to leave (11/30). Am I right? You can pm me if you want. I'd have to check in to it but I'd consider puddle jumping for a day.
I did not like Honolulu (except for the Pearl Harbor excursion). The freeway system in the city is akin to any big city, nasty, traffic snarled mess. We found some beautiful beaches out of the way but we stayed in the thick of the resorts there and going anywhere...bah. I just didn't like the grid lock. But I'd go there for part of a day to meet you up with you.
