What's the local scoop, FAHQTOO?
I've seen some people comment that the parents shouldn't have let the girls go hiking. But, my understanding is that it was a free day from school, the trail was familiar to the girls, and it's not uncommon for teens to hang around there.
Personally, I don't think it was wrong of the parents to let the teens hike that area with arranged drop-offs and pick-ups. But, I don't know much about the girls and nothing about their families.
