I've never been to a clambake. I'm sure they'll have corn on the cob. Mmmm. Makes my mouth drooly thinkin' about fresh corn. Clams too. I'm hungry!

Have you ever been to a pig roast?

Yep, many years ago, at a resort in Jamaica!

They had a deep pit in the ground by the pool, and they put in a like a 500 lb whole pig (apple stuffed in mouth) in there early in the morning. Covered it with a ton of some kind of big green leaves, poured some water mixed with herbs over it, and roasted and basted that sucker all day long until the late evening luau.
The roasted slab of pig I got was butter soft, and had the most delicious taste that was never ever duplicated anywhere else!
