I don't think I'm giving enough to live like that. It pains me to say that. I think I might be much too selfish, in more ways than one, and I'm not so sure I want people depending on me for anything more than work related responsibilities.
After reading a little about it, I thought it sounded like a commitment. A commitment is a tremendous responsibility and I feel like it covers a wide range. I feel very anxious simply considering that. A commitment. Oh God.
I hear you! I was also looking for roommate situations and read one that sounded like they really wanted a friend to watch movies and eat pizza's with. It sounds nice at first, but miss one pizza or movie night and then there could be a problem. Or what if I just want to veg out and watch movies in my own room and eat ice cream all night long by myself?
I feel selfish about sharing also. Even when I think about what I might gain in return.
