Yes, we won the appeal. What the appellate court decided was he got faulty defense in the original trial (among other fuck-ups) so because the original "defense" lawyer didn't do his job, he is due a re-trial.
After everything we have learned about one fuck-up after another done on this case it would shock the hell out of me if they do try to push this and charge him again. More likely, they will come at him with a plea deal which we will tell the prosecutor to fold up nice and tight and stuff it up his fuckin' ass. If Bullet were to plea to anything, that would negate our chance to sue the state for wrongful imprisonment. When we refuse to take a plea, there is a good chance that the prosecutor's office won't try him again, but it is their call.
