Thanks guys, I am literally in a head spin tonight. A bit of backstory is the eldest's husband has always put his own wants before his families needs. He has the latest video game equipment, but we had to buy the grandkids boots, coats hats & mittens this year. He thinks nothing of ordering $100.00 worth of Chinese food one night, while going to the food pantry the next. I'm so tired of him, it isn't even funny anymore. He has never made a decision that benefits his family, and his wife (my eldest step daughter) has supported him for 10 years, because *love* ok, whatever, you love him, but damn. Open your fucking eyes, girl, It's not our fault that you can't keep an apartment for longer than 9 months. Try paying the rent every once in a while, it might help! They're fucking butthurt because we let the youngest stepdaughter sleep on our couch 4 months after we said no to them. We didn't clean out a room for the youngest, and we don't make special accommodations for her, she has a fucking couch for christ sake. The youngest has been sleeping on our couch since Thanksgiving, and all of the sudden, it's become an issue with the oldest.
That's what I can't wrap my head around. We've helped the oldest out 6 times, was that 5 times too many? I don't know- but the hubs is hurtin, and I don't know how to make it better. God, I wish I could knock some sense into the oldest right now. Fuck her!
