Do you have fucked up kids

My son smokes weed, doesn't drink (but that wasn't always the case). My daughter doesn't drink or smoke weed. Never has. My son had his dangerous drug period early. Around 16 or so. He was a handful back then, as his mother was always more than willing to do coke or meth with him. He's grown now, has kids of his own and other than weed I can say he's clean and sober.

How could a mother do that? I'll let my kids drink beer or wine in front of me because they're adults, but I don't even really like them doing that.

I often wonder the same thing myself Sally. All I can think is that her addition was stronger than her maternal instinct.
