I want to do something that will make a difference. I don't know that calling senators all day long does. DOES IT?!

I think phone calls matter when they are jamming the switchboard, there have been a few of those moments the past year & a half, I would never say they don't make a difference. I understand what you mean by wanting to make a difference, I've been feeling that too but I look around my community, my state and there's nothing bad going on that could move me to be an activist, in a bizarre way I wish there was, I want to help. My state cares about the people, the environment, equal rights, the less fortunate, etc and we still have money for great roads, wonderful schools, programs for the needy.
