Trump thanked Harley Davidson in Wisconsin for manufacturing in the U.S. during his campaign. He promised to make it financially beneficial for U.S. companies to continue or come back to manufacturing in the U.S. to win support from blue collar workers and manufacturing companies.

As a result of his recent tariffs, however, Harley Davidson is creating a manufacturing facility in Europe. The company simply can't afford to eat the extra $2,200 per bike and the EU consumers won't bear such a high downstream price increase (according to the company).

trump isn't happy with Harley Davidson, not one little bit.



Harley Davidson CEO Matthew S Levatich says:

"Our decision to move some of our operations is 100% based on President Trumps tariffs. Mr. Trump knows nothing about economics and even less about trade. The man is a moron."
