The worst storm I was ever in was when I was in the north Atlantic and was told to secure a flag line on the starboard side near the fantail of the ship. I went out grabbed the line and when I looked up there was a 40 ft wave above me we were in the hallow of a wave and it looked huge. I ran inside and rolled the latch and was not sure if I had pissed myself or was just wet from the rain.

That sounds scary. Man.

I think the worst storm I was ever in was a summer storm and I had straight line winds. I didn't know that at the time, I thought it was a tornado. I was crying and shaking, all alone. I don't ever want to do that again. It was scarier than a tornado that clipped my area and that was pretty fucked up, it was like the hand of God had come down and backhanded my pine trees.
