The U.S. Postal Service treats packages with no return address as "suspicious" and screens them.
Whoever is sending the pipe bombs was able to avoid that scrutiny by including a return address on the packages.
The (fake) return address belongs to Democratic congressperson and former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.
It's not clear yet whether the bombs could have detonated, or if they were instead sent to intimidate the political targets.
