I spend a great deal of time making sure things are juuuuust right for the holidays, fuck all if I'm only going to enjoy it for a couple weeks. It will probably take me a week to do my home and I don't do nearly the stuff I used to do.
As an aside, I have a couple of little friends who come over and spend some time. I dressed up as Santa and I thought I was such a great one that they wouldn't be able to tell...and then one of them said, "you smell like Lessa"
I laugh every time I recall it.
