And, today, it was revealed that Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller asked the House Intelligence Committee on Friday for an official transcript of Trump adviser Roger Stone’s testimony, a sign that prosecutors could be moving to charge him with a crime.
Devin Nunes currently heads the Committee and may stall or attempt to deny Mueller access to the conflicting testimonies Stone provided.
However, Adam Schiff, who takes over the Committee next month, has indicated that he believes there is very good reason to suspect that Stone lied to Congress and that Mueller should have access to the transcripts.
