Supreme Court to Take On Gerrymandering
I wish Congress would pass fair bi-partisan legislation that strictly defines how voting districts can be drawn and mandates that district maps be drawn only by a transparent non-partisan body. Districting should not be done by one political party.
That would avoid or significantly reduce the problem of gerrymandering, whereby the ruling/majority party redraws voting districts in a manner which gives them an unfair advantage in elections.
