LE says that Miller was never on their radar for Jody's rape/murder before they got a DNA hit to his family last year.
He only lived five miles from the crime scene and had a sex crimes record, but apparently police back then didn't know that or didn't figure his previous arrests fit the profile of a rapist/murderer.
I wonder if Miller's DNA will end up matching other unsolved sex crimes in the area.
Miller's arraignment is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, April 15.
