Are you referring to your mother? Given everything I've read of yours it looks like you are the polar opposite of her. I know what you do for your kids and your step-daughter and her kids too.

Yeah,  I haven't talked to her in over a year, and, other than pictures, she hasn't seen my kids since they were babies.

When I was in H.S. I tried to fix the hem on a pair of pants on my Mothers, I feed that fucker and it just kept on building up and I yanked on it then tried again and everything pilled up then I floored it and something snapped. I closed it up and went camping that weekend. I stuck with chain saws ever since.

My Grandmother bought me my first machine when I was 6,  I took the opportunity to sew the sleeves of all my Dad's work shirts shut,  he was not impressed...

Yeah I was surprised too. She was a bit overprotective most of the time. No surprise that I ended up lazy and not very ambitious and living with mom and dad until I was in my 30's and then living with dad until last year.

Women can get like that over a machine, when my stepdaughters were interested in sewing, I went out and bought them a machine from a thrift shop to learn on.    The last time I let someone borrow one of my machines the repair bill was over $300.00.  Never again.

Anyone need a suggestion for a Christmas decoration?
