Yeah, I haven't talked to her in over a year, and, other than pictures, she hasn't seen my kids since they were babies.

Women can get like that over a machine, when my stepdaughters were interested in sewing, I went out and bought them a machine from a thrift shop to learn on. The last time I let someone borrow one of my machines the repair bill was over $300.00. Never again.
