Your dad's been in the facility for 6+  months now, it seems.   How's he adjusting Clang?

He's doing great. He's gotten very independent. His main problem is he pees like every hour, he's too healthy, misses his wife that died 5 years ago, and doesn't want to live another year on Earth or the nursing home.

Well, that's definitely a mixed bag.

It's really good to hear your dad is doing well physically and gained more independence.  

I'm sorry to hear that his desire to live without your mom isn't stronger though.  That (along with the frequent urination overnight in elderly men) is something I saw a lot in my previous business.   There were a number of clients who'd outlived their spouse and/or an adult child and just wanted to die already -- they needed care, but kinda resented it at the same time.

Anyway, I hope you have a really good visit with your dad Clang.
