What the fuck? Who do you think the first Christians were? His followers were fellow Jews. Oy vey.
Your comment that "he offered himself to us Gentiles" makes no sense.
"Gentile is a term that usually means 'someone who is not a Jew'." Obviously Christianity started with Christ, his followers and apostles were Jews so who are the Gentiles that you're talking about? And how could you possibly know the percentage of Jews that rejected him? He had a huge following, that was what got him on the Romans' radar.
There's also this:
Historically, the release of Barabbas at the crowd’s behest, and their subsequent demands to crucify Jesus, have been used to justify anti-Semitism. Many have placed blame for Christ’s death on the Jews, commonly citing Matthew 27:25, in which the crowd shouts, “His blood be on us and on our children!” However, numerous modern Christian scholars and leaders, including Pope Benedict XVI, have explicitly denounced this position, claiming that the crowd on that fateful day consisted of Jewish Temple authorities and Barabbas’s supporters, not of the entire Jewish people.
