There was a conversation on another forum about concentration camps. It was centered around our southern border. Someone had said somethng-I thought they said the work camps were not that bad-they were just work camps-they weren't extermiination camps. I got upset at the person saying those camps were horrible too and most likely all of those people died and they were tortured.

No not all the Nazi camps were "extermination" camps. Some were "work" camps (forced labor of course) such as Dachau. Granted they did exterminate some people there, but it wasn't their main mission. I've been there BTW - my kids were old enough to appreciate the gravity of the situation, so it was very educational.
