I have found that obsessing on the extreme drivel only gets them the attention they deserve.
I do not subscribe to any extreme view on the left or the right, I firmly believe that weeding through the extreme nonsense one does not subscribe to and not commenting on it over time tends to tone down the conversation and bring things like this back to a reasonable level of debate.
Not on Mock of course! And also not a guarantee it will work.
But I am finding there is also a lot of "not understanding" what is being read along with some 'loose' interpretations of what one thinks they're reading.
People will disagree on almost everything. That's healthy.
But when you troll to get a rise out of them, scream at each other how you're right and they're wrong (and vice versa) it only exacerbates the conversation to one extreme or the other or both going extreme.
If what they say is offensive, don't read it. How much power do you REALLY think a conversation on the internet forum can really pull? If you think they all are a joke, make you sick, why keep going to read?
Yeah, I know, so you can come here and mock them so they can see it here because your speech is not limited here. Big whoop. I bet they don't care.
I seriously don't think anyone wants mass slaughter.
