I've never really 'vacationed'.
I guess the closest thing was when my ex and I drove to Reno a few times. Once we got stuck there in a blizzard for a few days. We went through a lot of money that trip. =p
I've driven across the US twice. I've lived in WV, NJ, IN, WI, CA and OR. My most favorite area was in CA, my least favorite area was in OR.
I have little to no interest in cruise ships. Aside from being filthy germ pools, I would also hate the crowding and feel claustrophobic about being 'out to sea'. I have no desire to ever leave sight of shore.
I dislike airplanes, but I would love to go to europe sometime, and/or possibly Oz. It would most likely be depressing though, because I doubt I would want to come back. My ideal picture of 'vacationing', would be either backpacking or traveling in a small van or camper. I don't really care for glitzy hotels.
