There was a news story a couple of years ago about a cop that 'forgot' his dog in the car in the Arizona heat for 13 hours.

i remember that. Jesus, most cops love their K-9s! they are members of the family.i believe the officer was prosecuted in that case.

i did a very long thread on another site about babies and children dying after being left in sweltering cars. it boggles the mind how the parents 'forget' them. and here comes summer again, we'll see more of it. a damn car can reach 120 degrees F within minutes in the sun.
