I'm betting it's a regional thing where you drop your R's.
New England accents have dropped R's and it is said they are as close to the original English accent here as it gets.
England's accent has changed over the years too and you should man up and admit that.
I spent a whole day with 4 people from England and not one of them dropped their R's. I understood them perfectly.
I speak on the Skype with 5 other people from England and they do not drop their R's either. They speak clearly and without sounding like they have a mouth full of marbles.
So fuck you - admit it that you have regional accents that make you sound just as ignorant as you think some of our accents do.
And if you think R's should be dropped, you'll not argue with my NY accent. I drop my R's too.
Does that make me akin to you? Can I be perfect and white and British like you?
