I used to have problems with panic attacks and fear of social situations, now that I got a little job and I started studying its fading away gradually.

That anxious feeling after drinking is known in the UK as "the fear" it is very common.

"The Fear" is the sense that you have done yourself some lasting damage after a night of drinking. It's symptoms are:

- A feeling that you are going to die soon (and not just due to other hangover symptoms);
- A sense that people or organizations are out to get you;
- Angst that you may have offended, inappropriately touched or physically attacked someone the night before;
- Foreboding about the next time you meet the people or return to the bar where you degraded yourself the previous night.

The fear is often accompanied by "The Remorse" where you are also genuinely ashamed and sorry for the way you have behaved, as well as simply frightened for the sake of your own wellbeing.
Concerned Friend: "How are you feeling after last night?"
Sufferer: "I am riddled with The Fear. And cat AIDS."

She had two beers for fucks sake, it's not like she got stinking drunk and pissed herself at the local watering hole.

Nice contribution, asshole. No one gets "The fear" from having two beers, thats barely enough to get an 8 year old drunk. "The fear" is something that happens to an alcoholic orsomeone who gets shit faced, blacks out or makes an ass of themselves. This is like the time you told Lumpy she had colon cancer because she was up peeing all night.

No......he isn't wrong, and those who voted for your reply are just as clueless as you. You don't have to be drunk to have a reaction that could set off an anxiety attack.

One mouthful of beer is enough to cause "the fear" the next day if your body reacts a certain way.

I experienced it myself when I had one shot of peach brandy at a party, it was all I had to drink all night and I had "the fear" the next day.

So yet again Sally is wrong, as are the dickheads who voted for her lame ass post.
