If you are diagnosed with something like cancer you would do everything in your power to prolong your life including stopping smoking/drinking etc, the fact he continued smoking just proves what a sad addict he was.

It will not change anything , it will not stop the cancer and it will certainly not ease any pain you drooling harpie.
