If you are dying of cancer quitting smoking will not change a fucking thing.

If you are diagnosed with something like cancer you would do everything in your power to prolong your life including stopping smoking/drinking etc, the fact he continued smoking just proves what a sad addict he was.

He was diagnosed 20 months ago if smoking had anything to do with his cancer why did he not get esophageal cancer or lung cancer? Every doctor tells you to stop smoking. I have not smoked in 8 months and do not condone it in any way, but in this case it would not have made any difference.
