But then when he could not assure her that her smoking directly caused her cancer, or that quiting would help her live beyond the, at the time, 5 year life expectancy, she pretty much said fuck it, I am smoking. She did not smoke as much, but she started again. And BTW..died just a few weeks short of the 5 year anniversary of her diagnosis.I believe that smoking DOES exasperate the possibility of cancer. But I also believe that genetics plays just as important a role in cancer also. My point from the beginning has been that quitting smoking would not have changed a thing in Patrick's case. But poophole would never admit that that is the case here. He will go on and on never conceding, that is his blind objection complexrearing it's ugly head. Oh well. Never say die right?Even when wrong. That does not make him a bad person..........just British.
Another point...Dana Reeve (Christophers wife) who never smoked a day in her life, died from lung cancer.
I do not smoke, and do not condone smoking...but it just seems for every "smoking causes cancer" argument, there is a rebuttal.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
