Considering that Crime is more prevalent in black communities and there have been maybe 9 blacks killed by cops in those neighborhoods in the the inner cities and that 80% of crime is committed in those communities by blacks I would think that that is where they should be concentrated. Bias training is a slap in the face when these cops are risking their lives every time they punch in should be a consideration.
When community/police meetings are held the people in the community are begging for a bigger police presence there. more crime is committed there so that's where they go.
Obama did a great speech in 2008 when he said that black fathers are leaving their children to fend for themselves leaving the Mothers to bring their kids up without fathers. i don't know how far that went but he brought out statistics and was right when he said it. One of the times that he did a great job but he was trying to get elected and it would have been nice to follow up on it but you know how that goes in Washington.
When statistics are brought out the media tends to leave out things that are true in order to look politically correct and not make waves, but they may do the country a great favor if they would report the stark reality of it all and grow a set of balls to actually report the real things that have brought all this to this point.
It will happen again unless politicians and the media really work towards a solution and not just paint a pretty pony and blame all cops for the woes of what they are there for and that's to enforce the rules of law that everyone should adhere to no matter what race or religion a person may be in America.
Obama was right when he said the family structure has deteriorated in the inner city and that is the real issue. Not a rouge cop that has killed a black person. If any protester wants the real solution they need to look in the mirror and ask themselves if they are really making a difference or just passing the blame onto others.
